Our mission for the second phase of our work, starting on September 2021, is to use elements of art and science to promote the just governance of outer Space. Through this, we aim to engage with artists, policy-makers, activists, technologists, etc. to incorporate a vision of a just and equitable human civilization in outer Space into their work.

Our view of modern space exploration is something that we think of not as a detached, technologically-heavy endeavour, but as an integration between human values, cultures, art, and belief systems with the vast and mesmerizing cosmos from which we came from and have been separated from for so long.

With this view comes the idea of a just human exploration of outer Space - one in which we reassess and remove systems that, by design, can’t function forever. These systems include socio-ecological, political, economic systems, etc. Our personal fear is that if we explore Space with the systems that are clearly damaging us and the environment around us, there are centuries of human and ecological suffering to come.
